I remember this :)
And its still just as funny now as it was when I saw it the first time. Nice job :)

Pity five
I know you can do better than this. Apply yourself next time >:|
The pumpkins still come too fast and in too great of numbers, even if this was your intention, its an odd intention.
Graphics- the menu was lacking much luster and so was all of the other artwork.
Style- creating a game in a couple hours isn't a good style; if you are going to make a game at least put a little effort into it.
Sound- The music was good, but the game could have benefitted from some sound effects.
Violence- None, doesn't apply
Interactivity- Take some more time on the engine, the darn pumpkins came too fast and since they were on an interval, they built up when the game lagged. Also, there needs to be some sort of way to lose instead of endless gameplay and submit score whenever.
Humor- Doesn't apply
Overall- You know as well as I do that this is about the score you deserve :(
meh, it was never meant to be big, i didnt even expect it to get a score higher than like 2.3, so i really wasnt dissapointed. I just threw it together before i had to leave for hunting.
I managed to get a score of like 1000 (by luck) and i really think that if the pumpkins dropped slower it would be to boring. but as i recall *thinking back to defenceless stick* you have had a lot of things that you were sure wouldnt matter when it was released that became the doom of it.
the menu is fine, i really dont see why it needs to be any better.
the style is there, just not a lot of developed artwork. I had literally 3 hours to make this game and pack for a 5 day hunting trip so i think i did okay in that respect.
i was going to have more sound effects, but i ran out of time.
and the engine is fine. maybe a bit more variety with the pumpkins and a random speed and spin, and a bigger stage (but again no time)
and BTW it does end, when the song is over. i am pretty sure i mentioned that it the comments...
wow thanks for the 4, i woulda been happy with a 3.99999999(99), i guess you were feeling generous....
(i less than three pity votes *thinks back to defenceless stick*)

*****I HAVE NO PLANS TO FURTHER DEVELOPE THIS GAME AT ALL*****
And so the beast has been unleashed...
Two months of sculpting, grueling, caffiene injections, and cooperation has led to this. This diamond in the portal. Congrats to all who made it possible, and congrats to me waking up at 9am with only 7 hours of sleep to catch it under judgement :)
Haha. That's commitment, lol. Thanks for the great review DEF :). Loads of reviews already :)
Great game... still :)
Very original, and fun to play. A little abstract in the NG world, but good nonetheless.
Graphics would have been a ten if there was a bit more animation. The art was good, but more animation would have been more capturing I think.
Style was original and pursued very well.
All of the sound was good, but I think the bg music could have come out a little more, or maybe have options with sliders for the different sounds.
Violence doesn't really apply to this game, even if you are eating bugs, your a spider which pretty much makes it discovery kids safe. This didn't fracture my thoughts on the game though because, well, violence wasn't the point.
Interactivity, seemless controls, and well thought out gameplay. Maybe it was just my computer (probably was) but the frame rate was a bit low so the letters were hard to read at higher speeds.
Humor, well some of the words were funny. What can I say? There's something about the word hermaphrodite that makes me laugh :)
Overall, 9. There is room to improve, but still a great game. I feel bad for you guys since the game didn't really get much publicity; not even 1000 views. Maybe you will get a daily award or front page.
Last thing, w00t, I was mentioned in special thanks.
If you are reading this, you have just finished reading my review novel, sorry it was so long.
Dingo, thanks for the great review. Yeah, I wanted to submit earlier but couldn't get in touch with Jockey and it had to be submitted yesterday. It's rough getting a ton of views when you submit at 10pm. I wanted to around 7 or so. Hey, it happens. Thanks for testing too!
Another amazing game...
Wow, this game came out of no where. One day we're all working happily on four second frenzy and it is soon submitted. Near imediatley after its submission, you throw another game into the portal!
This game is great! Very original and a nice use of actionscript, I've doddled around with this kind of stuff before and I made a paint program, but you went a step further and turned it into this! Job well done!

Amazing, simply phenomenal
Hands down game of the month. This was killer, and totally nostalgia comforting. I was able to beat everything (except for endless obviously). In endless mode I got the dude to go higher than the stars and there was some island set, what was that?
Awesome game, perfect in all aspects, except maybe some more sounds. 11/10.
This is a flash revolution!
You have brought the world of doom into flash, I need to get a hold of that actionscript (if you could email it to me)
Graphics
You got a five because they were lacking, easy improvements would be to add some detail and lighting into the walls, maybe some blood stains or posters on the wall and also some lockers would have helped.
Style
This is a newage style that is quite exceptional, the only thing that i can think that would make it a bit better would to boost up sound and graphics.
Sound
Or lack there of, add some background music and maybe even shouts and death cries and your score would be a ten.
Violence
Easy ten, a little blood here and there and of course an overall violent theme (thats what pico is all about!) You could improve the look of the blood and maybe make some dynamic blood stains on the gun, but these are all minor.
Interactivity
Another easy ten, with an engine like this a ten is the minimum i would give (and unfortunately the maximum also)
Humor
There really wasn;t any humor and that was expected. It didnt harm your overall score at all
Amazing work and I really need to get my hands on that code.
Thanks for the review. And Just saying: The engine doesn't support textures, due to the fact that this is flash, and this is a vector/portal-based engine. (Not raycasting, which is the only way to texture in flash.) However, the blood splatters on the gun is a REALLY good idea... I'll have to try that out with the next game... Anyway, thanks for the review! Oh, and I'll be releasing the source once I clean it up a bit.
Flash may be put on the back burner for a bit. I have other stuff that needs to be taken out.
